Clearly the focus of this photo was executed poorly, however, if you would please direct your attention to my ear lobes you shall notice the beautiful (if not poorly emphasized) Pegasus Galaxy Stargate earrings that I received today (with matching necklace, not in photo) from a lovely little shop on Etsy, called Treasures of Atlantis. I see a lot of use out of these in the future. Be jealous!

But not only can I not afford it for quite a while, I promised my parents I wouldn’t get anymore until I was 25…so they’re lucky I’m a good daughter… But I really want something that incorporates my appreciation of water (since I’ve always lived on the coast) and Star Wars. I’m thinking of a sailor pin-up girl with the Princess Leia hairstyle and maybe a blue lightsaber. Of course, like the ones I have already I really wanna come up with the design and rough sketch by myself… God, my parents are gonna kill me.
So, through a series of unfortunate events my best friend and I ended up not making it to Comicon. However, we had tons of fun dressing up and we spent the day at craft fairs and bookstores instead, and had a lot of inappropriate fun. Day well spent </3

Sam and I have decided we’re gonna start saving money to go next year. There’s one in Boston but it’s “Wizard World” themed. The Syfy one (the one we REALLY wanna go to) is in San Diego, CA. Not sure if we’d fly or drive, but driving would take forever. Her grandma lives out there and said we could use her car. Can I just try and convey how much I am totally nerding out doing research right now?…
