Went to DSW with my ladies and tried on some ridiculous/awesome shoes. One of my ladies tried on some animal print stilettos, the other tried on some nude ones, and I tried both red stilettos and swarovski nude strappies on. I love shoes… ugh.
Also, went to Forever 21 and tried on an adorable floral dress.
So I bought this dress today (I know, I have too many dresses) and I’m going to wear it to my guy friends’ wedding next month AND this Wednesday night when I go to the Old Port for my Best Friend’s 21st birthday celebration!
It looks killer in yoga pants and fitted jeans, which makes shopping for those fun. However, it makes dress shopping a bitch. Everything is turned into a mini-dress.
Saw this dress come in when I was assisting in unloading the store truck the other day. Definitely buying this.
I want a dress like this so bad. :(
Loooove this outfit. It’d look spectacular with some red shoes!
Vintage dress. Nice day for a photoshoot.
This extremely beautiful lady friend of mine is also a genius (whether she’ll admit it or not) and she looks absolutely fabulous in this dress (and in general) ;)
BCBG stilettos, Jessica McClintock clutch, Anne Klein pumps, Calvin Klein black dress, and Calvin Klein red dress.
Well, I bought 2. Both are Calvin Klein. One is red and the other, black. They’re super classy and really comfortable. I have 2 pairs of shoes I have to choose from. One is a 3 1/2 inch grey Anne Klein point-toe pump. I love them with the black dress. The other, an olive green closed-toe 5 inch BCBG stiletto. These look fantastic with the black dress and lovely with the red. If I wear the black dress, I’ll throw on a pearl necklace and my lime green leather watch from Ireland. If I wear the red dress, I’ll throw on my mum’s silver bracelet. Either way I’ll probably wear sparkly earrings and put my hair in a curly pony-tail. I never dress up; LEGITIMATELY dress up, so I’m kinda stoked. It sucks not being a bridesmaid as was the original plan, but there was no way I could afford it or take the time off for all the events. So, this will do. Count down to October! Now I just have to find a hot date…!
…I’m a sucker for weddings…even if I don’t support the idea most of the time.
So, I have a wedding to go to in October, and I know it’s 10 months away but I’m having fun looking for dresses to wear as a guest. I want something fun and classy, and maybe a little sexy. I also want it nice enough that I can do a simple updo or curl my hair super fast, not a lot of jewelry or any at all, and a little bit of makeup, and some kickass pumps or boots or something for shoes. Today, these were the contenders; but I was just getting some ideas :)
My mum liked the style of the tan dress, but really liked the black one. My sister liked the summer dress. My best friend liked the duo-toned dress with the belt and the tan one. I liked all of them, but the duo-toned was my fave, with the leopard in second.
Clearance dress. I loved it, but my Butt wasn’t having it…there’s a reason there’s no back-view for this one…I lied, I did get this.
