But not only can I not afford it for quite a while, I promised my parents I wouldn’t get anymore until I was 25…so they’re lucky I’m a good daughter… But I really want something that incorporates my appreciation of water (since I’ve always lived on the coast) and Star Wars. I’m thinking of a sailor pin-up girl with the Princess Leia hairstyle and maybe a blue lightsaber. Of course, like the ones I have already I really wanna come up with the design and rough sketch by myself… God, my parents are gonna kill me.
So, through a series of unfortunate events my best friend and I ended up not making it to Comicon. However, we had tons of fun dressing up and we spent the day at craft fairs and bookstores instead, and had a lot of inappropriate fun. Day well spent </3
Starting Friday night I invited a couple friends over for a horror movie marathon. We all wanted this to be a whole weekend of Halloween. Started Friday’s fun off by eating way too much Star Wars themed candy and chips, then proceeded to intermittently watch The Last Exorcism, Troll 2, and Zombieland. Took forever to watch 3 movies since we also had dinner with my parents—which was quite an interesting/ridiculous/hilarious part of the night for my friends, made cookies, and talked a shit ton. Ended up realizing at midnight that some of us had work early in the morning. Decided to dress like a crazy/color-blind person on Saturday and Sunday, since I wasn’t allowed to actually dress up at work. Yesterday my house got maybe 20 kids. I ordered a costume, but decided to wear it at the P-town Comicon in 2 weeks. Ended my Halloween weekend with Saw: The Final Chapter. Overall, this past weekend was pretty relaxed and fun. I’d say it was a success :)
