Finished reading my first novel in 4 years last night.

I read from 5:30p-10:30p and completed all 350 pages. It was lovely to read something I chose :)

Oh, Reading… how I’ve missed you.

It may only be a silly romance novel, but it sure as hell isn’t a textbook on developmental biology or organic chemistry or calculus and derivatives. This makes me happy. Janet Evanovich, please numb my brain for me!

I am the culinary underachiever of my family.

They’re always making something homemade and yummy. Tonight I come home to Parmesan encrusted steak with gnocchi and homemade garlic bread. 

I, on the other hand, can only make spectacular brownies… the premixed Ghiradelli kind. 

I’m gonna starve when I move out of this house.
